About CozyNest Finds

Measure first.
Decide second.

CozyNest Finds exists to close the gap between inspiration and reality — for renters in small apartments where every inch matters and every mistake costs money.

The philosophy

“Most home ideas look great online but fall apart in real apartments.”

Measurements over mood boards

Renter-friendly, always reversible

Function first — aesthetics second

Real constraints, not ideal conditions

Measure once
Avoid returns
Renter-friendly
No remodeling
Real dimensions

Hi, I’m Lou.

I’m an interior-design-trained editor focused on practical, measurement-led solutions for apartments and small living spaces.

CozyNest Finds grew out of a frustration I kept seeing, and living myself. Home content is full of beautiful ideas that ignore real apartment constraints: narrow clearances, fixed layouts, limited storage, rental restrictions.

Every guide on this site starts with a tape measure, not a mood board. The goal isn’t to showcase perfect homes, it’s to help real spaces work better, one measured decision at a time.

How every guide is made

The approach

01

Identify the problem

Find a recurring small-space issue — storage, layout, furniture fit — that trips up real renters.

02

Analyse constraints

Map the measurements, clearances and apartment realities that affect that specific problem.

03

Test what works

Determine what typically works and what commonly fails — based on real dimensions, not ideal conditions.

04

Present the fix

Practical solutions based on fit, function and usability — not trends or aspirational interiors.

If your space has constraints and little margin for error

Apartment dwellers and renters

Small homes, studios and compact rooms

People with limited storage or fixed layouts

Anyone who prefers practical guidance over decorative hype

Not for everyone — and that’s the point

Large renovations or construction projects

Luxury homes with no spatial constraints

Decorative trends that ignore usability

Generic advice that ignores your exact space
